Akrapovic header Porsche 992 GT3 (Touring)
Akrapovic evolution header set for the Porsche 992 GT3. The Evolution Header Set (E-PO/T/7) from Titanium for the Porsche 992 GT3 including the touring model. With the special Akrapovic manifold crossover pipes in the headers, this innovative design comes directly from race-proven exhaust systems. This is the first time it has featured in an Akrapovic car exhaust.
The Akrapovic masterpiece of engineering is designed to optimize the performance of the Porsche 992 GT3. The headers will and fit to the OEM muffler or can be combined to most aftermarket exhaust mufflers. The headers are cast in the in-house foundry, and the complete use of titanium results in a weight saving of 3.8 kg, which is 28% lighter than the stock equivalent.
Tuned quarter-length resonators with the sport catalytic converters ensure the sound quality and the absence of any distortion or unwanted frequencies. This is creating a unique sound experience for the Porsche 992 GT3. It provides an increases of 16.6 kW (22.6 hp) in power at 4,550 rpm and 35.2 Nm in torque at 4,500 rpm, when tested on the Akrapovic dyno against a Porsche 992 GT3 with the standard OEM stock exhaust.
The system fits on vehicles equipped with and without Otto particulate filter (OPF). When installing the Akrapovic Evolution Header Set on vehicles with particulate filters, remapping the ECU is mandatory to prevent potential check engine light CEL warning signals. When installing the Akrapovic Evolution Header Set on vehicles without particulate filters, remapping the ECU is recommended but not required.
